It’s Already November

Time has decided to grow a pair of wings and fly by.

With that being said, happy November!

I hope everyone had a great Halloween. Mine was pretty good. I worked all day and then when I got off I went home and squeezed in some gaming.

I never manage to beat Dead Space, which kinda sucks for me, because that’s a game I wanted to finish for the holiday season so I could move on to November games.

Looks like I’ll be enjoying my time with Dead Space a little longer.

Other games I’d like to finish in November are Borderlands 2 (with friends), Resident Evil 4, Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, and Pokémon Scarlet.

What games do you have planned for this month?

Honestly, I can’t pack this month too tightly, and some games will be forced to move to December.

I have an extremely busy month this November, because it’s the month I’m finally getting married.

My fiancée and I are trying to do everything we can to scrounge up last-minute stuff so we can finally have this wedding and go on our honeymoon.

I’m really excited. I’m pretty nervous, too, but it’s a good type of nervous. I’m a naturally anxious and cautious person, and I just want this to be a special day for her. There’s a lot of pressure to make sure it goes exactly the way we want it to go.

Once it’s all over, though, the planning doesn’t stop. We will need to immediately save for a house payment or two, because we may actually be fortunate enough to have our first house in January.

Everything is happening all at once, and I’m trying not to let it overwhelm us — especially her. I need to be her rock at all times.

It’s just exciting and I’m looking forward to everything.

So, yeah, that’s all I have for now. Just trying to get some gaming in here and there while saving up for crazy-huge, life-changing stuff like marriage and a home. No biggie, right?

Next year is also my 50 Video Game Challenge where I plan to clear 50 games off my backlog. It’s going to require some pretty extensive gaming time, so I’m hoping I’ll have opportunities to play more.

I’ve sorta bummed around this year and just played whatever, but that’s not going to happen in 2023. I’m fired up and ready to clear some games!

But we will cross that bridge when it gets there. My top priority right now is to get married and save over $1800 for a downpayment.

Wish me luck, gamers 🫡
