I spent the majority of today out with family so I didn’t get much gaming done at all. But that’s okay. We were celebrating my sister-in-law’s birthday over some ramen. It was really good. I love ramen.
It’s one of the only foods that never get old for me — alongside pizza, tacos, shrimp fried rice… man… I love food.
After we ate we went to GameStop. They had two PlayStation 5 consoles available! It’s so nice to be able to find them in the wild now. I guess they did a big restock for Christmas.
Speaking of, I had a really great Christmas. I spent time with family and friends, and played video games like God of War and Ys VIII Lacrimosa of Dana on my PlayStation 5.
And since it’s a new year, that means there’s gonna be new releases to look forward to. Thanks to the PS5, I’m able to get excited for them, too.
They’ll look better and perform better!
I’m honestly so psyched for this year. I’m looking forward to games like One Piece Odyssey and Resident Evil 4 … among many, many others.
You may have seen my tweet about “entering my brawler arc”,
Well, it’s true! I’m gonna be focusing on Brawler-type games like Shenmue, Yakuza, Judgment, and Fist of the North Star: Lost Paradise!
The Yakuza franchise, in particular, is one I’ve been wanting to finish for a long time, I just haven’t gotten around to it yet.
Other games I’ll hopefully be able to fit in-between are The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, and Dragon Quest!
I’m hoping to make a dent in my backlog next year, with a goal in mind of trying to beat more games than I purchase. We’ll see how that goes with all these new launches coming out!
I’m optimistic and ready to go hard!
Finally,
I’ll be attempting to catch up on some anime. I haven’t watched anime in so long and I’m actually really bad at keeping up with series.
But I’m doing well so far. I’d like to watch some Fist of the North Star before (and during) I play it. I’m also starting the famous Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure, because I like the idea of “Stands” thanks to the Persona series. Which by the way, I hope everyone plays Persona 4 Golden when it comes to consoles — such an amazing game!
So, yeah. That’s all from ya boy Vohris. Just hoping for a great year filled with tons of games and anime — hoping to clear lots off my backlog and catch up on some series I’ve missed out on.
